Helping Florida’s Health Care Volunteer Service Leaders through the exchange of ideas and continuing education, while advancing our profession
As the Florida Association of Directors of Volunteer Services we are a resource for the educational requirements of our profession, we provide best practices and create connections allowing us to learn from each other.
I strongly believe in the power of connections and as President, have chosen the theme “Igniting Connections for Success.” I moved to Florida in 2006 and started working for Nemours in Orlando. I joined FADVS and found an organization that allowed me the opportunity to learn new things in volunteer management and most importantly to network with its members. That networking was so valuable to me and it still is today.
If you are a current member, I invite you to participate in our online Topics for Best Practices located in the Members Only section, accessible to members via the Log In icon at the top right of this page.
If you are a volunteer services professional, and not yet a member, this website provides basic information about our organization. To learn more, please contact Laura Cole, our Membership Chairman, at firstname.lastname@example.org, or 850.416.5730.
I look forward to your participation in FADVS.
